Forward to youth! Laser rejuvenation gives the skin a second life

Laser rejuvenation allows you to eliminate facial wrinkles

Laser rejuvenation is no longer something rare and mythical. Nowadays everyone can turn back the years they have lived. However, not all people have reliable information about laser rejuvenation methods, which is why they make a mistake when choosing a procedure.

First, you need to understand the types of procedures. There are two of them:

  • Ablative;

  • not ablative.

These types of impacts are, in turn, divided into:

  • solid (full);

  • broken (incomplete).

At first glance, these laser rejuvenation methods may seem similar, but that is far from the case. Only the result is the same: after correctly selected types of treatment, the skin becomes several years younger and actually looks much better.

Non-ablative laser treatment works on the deep layers of the skin and heats them up. The effect of laser beam energy on fibroblasts causes them to produce collagen and elastin more quickly. Microcirculation in the skin layers also improves.

This method is most effective when:

  • scars and severe skin damage;

  • widespread skin rashes;

  • hyperpigmentation and uneven complexion;

  • after acne;

  • Stretch marks.

Nonablative treatment is based on the operation of an erbium laser. Thanks to the special wavelength (1550 nm), the upper layers of the skin are not affected, while the lower layers receive the necessary stimulation for recovery. This eliminates most of the defects.

Ablative laser treatment works slightly differently. This method uses a carbon dioxide laser with a wavelength of 10600 nm. The effect occurs not only on the lower but also on the upper layers of the skin. The ablative method evens out the skin's appearance and achieves a lifting effect. Applicable to:

  • wrinkles around the eyes, small facial wrinkles;

  • decreased skin tone;

  • Pigment disorders.

It should be noted that the rehabilitation period after this procedure will be slightly longer because larger amounts of skin will be exposed than with the non-ablative method.

Despite the differences, the essence of the two methods is the same. The energy of the laser beam heats the water in the dermis and literally evaporates. At the same time, the synthesis of collagen and elastin necessary for rejuvenation is initiated.

Partial and continuous laser exposure

Although these two methods produce approximately the same results, they have significant differences.

With continuous laser treatment, the laser acts on the skin at a large point. However, due to the high risk of scarring and the long recovery times, this type of laser treatment is now practically no longer used anywhere.

In another case, the laser is split into many small beams that form a grid. This means that the laser, which only touches 20% of the skin surface, achieves a 100% rejuvenation effect. This method is more modern and safer, and its use noticeably shortens the rehabilitation time.

Laser photorejuvenation

This rejuvenation technique works like the non-ablative technique on the deeper layers of the skin. But they are in no way the same or interchangeable.

The finest laser beams almost completely "ignore" the dermis, but have an excellent effect on the nerve endings in the skin, which give the body a signal for cell renewal. Fine wrinkles disappear, the skin tone is restored.

Laser photorejuvenation uses devices such as KTP (wavelength 532 nm) and ND: Yag (wavelength 1064 nm). Thanks to these parameters, the laser radiation is perfectly absorbed by the hemoglobin and melanin molecules, which are responsible for the pigmentation of the skin. At the same time, water molecules practically do not heat up. For these reasons, laser photorejuvenation is an extremely effective means of correcting skin color and combating vascular networks on the skin.

This technique does not require a long rehabilitation period and anesthesia.

Finally

Each laser skin rejuvenation method has its own unique characteristics that greatly influence the final result. It is necessary to carefully select a technique so that rejuvenation is not only easy and effective, but also a safe process.

It is important to know that some cosmetologists do not disclose all the features of this procedure to the client and choose a device for laser treatment based on the principle of "what is available". To avoid this, you should contact experienced professionals with experiencehave proven positive over the entire period of use.
